ABOUT

Owner and stylist Eva Guida created Bella Donna Haute Coiffure in ode to her Mother, Franca Magaletto, who dreamed of being a hairdresser. In 2002 the salon was a present to Eva from her mother.

Bella Donna Haute Coiffure is an energetic, creative, family oriented salon located in Montreal. It caters to hip, sophisticated, fashion forward clients that wear their hair in the same mode. Eva is experimental, fun and spiritual with a drive to create new exciting hairstyles. Clients always feel at home at Bella Donna and leave with smiles on their faces.

Hairdressing became a passion of Eva’s at the young age of three when she would paint and groom her pets. During her teen years she would recreate her friend’s hair cuts and give them makeovers in her spare time. This drove Eva to move to Vancouver at the age of 22 to follow her dream and study at John Casablanca’s Modeling & Makeup Career Agency.

Following her graduation, Eva worked as an assistant/freelance makeup artist on many films such as Double Jeopardy, Future Sport and The Pledge. She also worked in television with many shows such as The X-Files, Stargate and The Addams Family. Eva has always been involved in fundraising and sponsorships, such as aiding in the production of the Miss Hawaiian Tropic, the Female Breast Cancer Society fashion shows and more.

In 2000, Eva moved back to Montreal to start her own business in 2002. Eva caters to the arts and especially musicians. Rocker Stevie Trixx was Eva’s first musician client and started a trend of music-oriented clients, such as David Rades from Calling Broadway, Simon O’Leary from Shards of Jade and drum designer Johnathan Granato from Lucky Drums that continues to grow. Bella Donna continues to be Eva’s passion and drive.
